Eligibility Criteria : The nationality of the candidate must be Indian. The candidate must have passed his/her class 12 or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50 % from a recognized board. Anti Sexual Harassment Committee, comprising of members from the teaching and non-teaching staff as well as students looks into matters related to sexual harassment of students and staffs in the college. The boards indicating the names, their phone numbers ofthe committee members are displayed in the college.
Ragging in any form is a punishable offence and committing this act of indiscipline shall result in instant cancellation of the concerned student's admission to the course or into his/her rustication. It must be noted that the institute considers ragging a cognizable offence and will not hesitate to take strong action against the offenders Here are the extracts from the UGC's Committee Report. Guidelines given by the University Grants Commission to Curb the Menace of Ragging in Universities/ Educational Institutions.
As a matter of policy, students are not relieved during the course of study, if any student after admission to the programme decides to withdraw his/her studentship from the college at any time before completing the programme she or he shall have to communicate her or his decision to the college authority in physically along with parents or legal guardian. If college authority satisfies with the reasons of withdrawal of studentship from the college, he/she has to pay the remaining fees of the admitted program. Fees and documents are non-refundable in any circumstance.
